Harness The Niche Blueprint To Create Your Own Online Drop Shipping Business

If you have pondered the possibility of starting your own online storefront which delivers physical products, but have been put off by the prospect of having to deal with inventory, then the strategy devised by super affiliates Steve Clayton and Tim Godfrey may be just the opportunity you have been waiting for.

Let me say straight up that if anyone other than Steve Clayton and Tim Godfrey were trying to get my attention with promises of niche domination using what sounds like eBay-seller type storefronts, I'd be very unlikely to listen to their proposition.

However, these two guys happen to be awesome internet marketers, as you'll see in a moment.

Steve and Tim are better known for their earlier product, called Commission Blueprint, in which they exposed their highly successful affiliate marketing methods for selling ClickBank products through pay per click advertising.

In fact, one of their campaigns regularly pulled in around $100,000 per month in commissions, with an ad spend that amounted to perhaps a quarter of that. If this sounds remarkable, it should. Especially when you consider they were able to do this selling multiple non-internet marketing related products, like acne solutions, and schemes to run your car on water (apparently people will buy that kind of nonsense!).

So Steve Clayton and Tim Godfrey know what it takes to sell stuff. It's just what they are good at. They have done the work, learned from their experience, and these days they are happy to make some extra money revealing what it is that they do so well. I am sure that it also does wonders for the ego, but if the end result is an improved understanding for me as to how to sell effectively, then that's all I care about. I am sure the same is true for you.

But who are these guys really?

Well, Steve Clayton has a technical background, having labored for two decades in, as he describes it, "Corporate America". But he left that life in 2003 after deciding that what he wanted to do was build his own lifestyle independent of anyone else. Well, he almost did that, but as fortune would have it, he chanced to meet Tim Godfrey and the two struck up a partnership which has worked out very well for the both of them. Tim has spent a lot of time experimenting with all the many ways that affiliates can make money online, including having created his own affiliate marketing products. He seems to be happy being the backend portion of this dynamic duo, while Steve appears in the videos and gets his face out in front of everyone.

Their first product for 2009 is called the Niche Blueprint. In contrast to their first joint product, which concentrated on the selling of digital goods, this time around they are providing instruction on how to be massively successful at selling physical goods.

As examples of this, they say they have made hundreds of thousands of dollars targeting obscure niches such as bird cages, sewing machines, and even train horns. Train horns? You will almost certainly be shocked to learn that people are prepared to pay up to $1000 or more to put powerful train horns on their automobiles. Who knows why! But if there is a market for it, and the returns are good, then it is clearly an opportunity that should peak the interest of any serious affiliate marketer.

Now, I have promoted tangible products in the past (and even presently) and I know that the commissions on these are usually very low. For instance, the best commission rate you can get selling a product through Amazon.com is about 8 percent. Steve and Tim understand this. So instead of just making their commissions through referred sales, they have come up with a method for acquiring the goods wholesale, and then drop shipping the items through an affordable service. That way, they are able to set the prices of the merchandise and make more that the standard affiliate commissions. In effect, they have become merchants.

In principle, it sounds viable, but what about the storefront? How do you go about finding suppliers of the products that you want to sell through the online store? And what about the drop shipping service (which allows you to bypass stocking any inventory)?

Well, Steve and Tim figured out how to set up their own drop shipping business so that they could cut out the middle-man. When their members buy the Niche Blueprint, which you can learn more about in my Niche Blueprint review, they get a free lifetime subscription to the service.

They also get all of the software needed to implement their online store, plus loads of video tutorials and PDF manuals that explain how to do everything. Again, if it was anyone other than this pair of characters offering the product, I would likely not pay too much attention. But these guys are simply just too good at their game to ignore.

So if you think you might like to leverage their success, take a closer inspection of the Niche Blueprint. But I must warn you that Steve and Tim rarely take new clients for this product, so if you discover that they have opened up their membership queue, realize that it will only be temporary. I have also decided to make it easier for people to decide to sign up for the Niche Blueprint. I am offering a sizable bonus in the form of companion software that can be used to produce lead-in pages for your store. You can see my offer on my review page for the Niche Blueprint.
